Fund Your Account
Three ways in, all ending in USDλ.
Every way of funding an account ends the same way: USDλ credited to your balance, backed one-for-one by USDC held in escrow. From the moment it lands it earns yield and can back a position.
Card or Apple Pay
Press Deposit, choose Card, enter an amount and pay. The processor confirms the payment, the on-ramp deposits the matching USDC into the same escrow vault every other deposit uses, and USDλ is credited to your account. It is exactly as backed as a deposit you sent yourself — the exchange cannot tell the two apart.
Limits, fees and the current status of the on-ramp are shown on the Card tab before you pay.
USDC from Ethereum, Base or Linea
Send USDC to the vault on the chain you hold it on. The vault escrows it and emits a deposit event; that event is proven to STRATO and USDλ is minted to your account. The deposit is proven trustlessly — no one has to vouch for it — and arrives in seconds. See The Bridge for how the proof works.
Any token you hold
Choose Swap in the deposit dialog to bring a token that is not USDC. The conversion and the deposit happen in one step, so you do not have to swap first and bridge second.
What arrives
Your balance shows in USDλ. It is one dollar, redeemable for USDC at any time, and it starts earning the moment it arrives. See USDλ.
